Upon arriving at Hotel Belalp, I was struck by its stunning location at the end of a wide path overlooking the snow-capped Alps and the majestic Aletsch glacier. The picture-perfect chapel perched on a hill added to the Swiss charm. The staff, accommodating and friendly, ensured a smooth check-in and even set up an early breakfast to suit my hiking schedule. The comfortable rooms afforded panoramic views, and the beds were a sanctuary after a day of exploring the mountains.The dining room, with its candles and glacier vistas, offered a delightful dining experience at reasonable prices. The hearty breakfast and tasty meals were a highlight. However, it's worth noting that once you're at the hotel, there are limited nearby options. The availability of ski storage and proximity to hiking trails make it ideal for outdoor enthusiasts. The lack of Wi-Fi may deter some, but the peaceful setting encourages disconnecting.Hotel Belalp strikes a balance between luxury and value, offering a comfortable stay amidst breathtaking natural beauty.
